My Story

Tickled Pink Plants & Things really started with something very simple: plants make me happy.

Over the years, plants became more than just something pretty in my home. Caring for them became a little escape for me—a place where I could slow down, clear my mind, and find some peace. There is still nothing quite like discovering a new leaf, watching a tiny cutting take root, or finding that one plant I absolutely have to bring home.

And somewhere along the way, I realized that I wanted to share that feeling with other people.

I dreamed about creating a place that felt happy the moment you walked in. A place filled with beautiful plants, but also warmth, conversation, laughter, and people who understand why finding a new leaf can completely make your day.

That’s how Tickled Pink Plants & Things came to be.

This little dream is very personal to me. It’s about choosing joy, following something I truly love, and creating something that feels like me. But it’s also a dream that has been encouraged and supported by some incredibly important people in my life.

I’m so grateful for the people who have believed in me, encouraged my ideas, listened to me talk endlessly about plants and this dream, and supported me as Tickled Pink has grown from an idea in my heart into something real. Having people beside you who believe in your dream makes the journey that much more special, and I’m incredibly thankful for the love and encouragement that has helped me get here.

I want everyone who discovers Tickled Pink—whether online, at an event, or hopefully one day walking through the doors of my shop—to feel welcomed.

You don’t have to know everything about plants. You don’t even have to call yourself a “plant person” yet. Come as you are. I’ll happily help you find something you’ll love and show you how to care for it.

More than anything, I hope Tickled Pink becomes a place that makes people smile. Because sometimes a little bit of green, a new leaf, or something beautiful growing in the corner of your home can bring more happiness than you ever expected.
